It was built by people doing the analysis, not by people writing a CFD product. That shapes it more than any feature list.

It is built to answer the questions an engineer actually has to answer before a review: has this converged on the mesh, does it depend on the turbulence model, and what is the split between pressure and friction drag. The comparison report exists because those were the questions, not because a competitor had one.

Publish what is not done. The application ships with a known-gaps document that is kept current rather than aspirational, and a benchmark appears on this site only once it has been written up in full — numbers, set-up and all — rather than summarised.

Never hold your work hostage. A lapsed subscription degrades the software to the free tier. It does not lock your cases, make them read-only, or delete anything.

Publish the price. No “contact us for pricing” on anything you could reasonably buy with a card.
