There is no feature gating between Basic and Enterprise — the physics is identical. What Enterprise adds is how a team buys, shares and accounts for it.

Floating seat pools

Seats shared by concurrent use rather than assigned to named people. Cheaper per engineer for a team that uses CFD in bursts. The portal shows who currently holds one, with the time they took it — which is the first thing anyone asks when a pool is full.

Offline and air-gapped activation

A signed licence file activates a machine with no network at all. For sites where the workstation has never seen the internet and never will.

Organisation and seat management

Invite by email, assign and revoke seats, owner / admin / member roles, and owner transfer for when the person who bought it leaves.

Support with a contractual SLA

Same-working-day first response in business hours, severity levels, and service credits if we miss — the terms are published at /legal/sla, not summarised here. Every ticket gets a reference you can quote, and the whole thread lives in your account.

Pricing that is actually published

Named Enterprise seats are £890 per seat, and you can buy them from the pricing page without speaking to anyone.

Floating pools start at five concurrent seats and are also self-serve. Past roughly twenty concurrent seats it becomes a conversation — not to discover your budget, but because a pool that size usually comes with questions about deployment, air-gapped sites and invoicing that a checkout cannot answer.

For the procurement questionnaire

The answers you are about to ask for, before you have to ask.

Seller of record	Paddle. Your invoice comes from them, and they handle VAT/GST in your jurisdiction.
Payment	Card and the usual wallets self-serve. Purchase orders and invoicing for Enterprise.
Data processing	Account, licence and activation data only. No case files, no geometry, no results ever leave your machines.
Software licence	Per-seat subscription. Perpetual licences are not offered.
Source obligations	OpenFOAM is GPL; the corresponding source we distribute is published.

What we are not going to pretend about.

SHD Systems is a small company and this product is new. There is no SOC 2 report, no ISO 27001 certificate and no completed penetration test yet — and you should assume any vendor of this size claiming otherwise has bought a badge rather than done the work. What exists is documented on the security page, including what does not.
