Linear static
Loads, restraints, stress, deflection

In development.
What it is
One load, one solve, no iteration: the stiffness matrix is assembled once and inverted. Valid while deflections stay small relative to the part and the material stays on its elastic line. It is the baseline every other structural analysis is measured against, and the one to run first even when you suspect you need something harder.
What this analysis needs from you
- A meshed solid, with mid-side nodes if you want stress rather than a rough deflection
- Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio
- Enough restraint to remove all six rigid-body modes
- Loads as force, pressure or acceleration
Typical uses
- Bracket and mount sizing
- Pressure vessel wall thickness
- Lifting points and lugs
- Machine frame deflection under working load
- Checking a hand calculation against the whole geometry
Industries
Sectors where this analysis is routinely asked for.
- General machinery
- Structural fabrication
- Pressure equipment
- Consumer products
What comes out
- Displacement and stress fields
- Reaction forces
- Safety factors against yield
- Stiffness of the real part

Chosen for this analysis type, with its capability verified against the module plan — not decided later.
Status
Phase 2 — the next module after CFD. Telling us you need this analysis moves it up the order — modules are sequenced by who is waiting for them.
